Odisha Ability Summit 2026

WE4YOU Charitable Trust in collaboration with Yi Bhubaneswar proposes to organise Yi Ability Summit 2026 as a one-day multi-stakeholder platform to promote sustainable livelihood, accessible infrastructure, corporate employment opportunities, and sports empowerment for Persons With Disabilities in alignment with ODISHA STATE DISABILITY ACTION PLAN.

Key Activities of the Event

Panel Discussions

Structured panel discussions will be organised on the following themes:

  • Inclusive livelihood and skill development opportunities for PwDs

  • Corporate employment, workplace inclusion and retention

  • Sports and physical empowerment of Persons with Disabilities

  • Policy implementation gaps and convergence under State welfare schemes

Corporate Participation & Recognition
  • Participation of 100 corporates & PSUs operating in Odisha

  • Felicitation of corporates for community-centric and inclusive initiatives for Persons with Disabilities

  • Sharing of corporate best practices to encourage replication

Recognition of Role Models

Felicitation of Visually Impaired individuals who have achieved Government employment, including OAS officers and other public service achievers, to inspire PwDs and promote positive role models

MoU with Educational Institutions

Student Presentations : Students from Social Science, BSW, and MSW programmes will present their ideas and perspectives on disability inclusion, accessibility, and inclusive development.
Institutional MoUs : MoUs will be signed with colleges and universities to engage BSW, MSW, and other relevant students in structured volunteering, internships, research, and community outreach initiatives related to disability inclusion.

Assistive Devices Exhibition

Exhibition and demonstration of Assistive devices and accessibility solutions by vendors and organisations working in the disability sector, enabling PwDs to access information on available technologies
